The traditional 4-star-hotel is the ideal starting point for your holiday trip. Situated very quietly in the heart of the old part of the town with only 30 mtrs to the lake. We offer you modern comfort and friendly service. You will enjoy the superb breakfast buffet and the excellent restaurant  in the hotel ´Goldenes Rad´. Available for our guests are also sauna, solarium, fitness room, bikes and a garden terrace. Own parking area and underground garage at the hotel. We are looking forward to your stay!

Directions

By car: From direction Stuttgart: A81 and A98 until to the end, Stockach, B31 (in direction Lindau) until Friedrichshafen, Follow to city center, turn right at Schanzstraße, then turn left at Karlstraße, from here the hotel is about 150 m on the left side. From Ulm: B30 through Ravensburg to Friedrichshafen, to the center of the city. direction harbor and Zeppelin Museum. Right from the entrance to the ferry is the harbor station.(bus station). After the bus station, turn right under a bridge to the pedestrian zone (Karlstraße), 200 meters after you can find the hotel on the right side. From Munich: A96 in direction Lindau, departure Sigmarszell/Friedrichshafen, B31 until Friedrichshafen center. Right from the entrance to the ferry is the harbor station (bus station). After the bus station, turn right under a bridge to the pedestrian zone (Karlstraße), 200 meters after you can find the hotel on the right side. From Zurich: N7 until Kreuzlingen / Constance, take car ferry to Meersburg, then B31 to Friedrichshafen. Follow to city center, turn right at Schanzstraße, then turn left at Karlstraße, from here the hotel is about 150 m on the left side. By Airplane: Direct flights to Friedrichshafen from Bremen, Cologne, Dusseldorf, Hanover, Berlin, Leipzig, Dresden, Frankfurt, Augsburg, Basel, airport Zurich / Kloten (Switzerland) From the airport Friedrichshafen to the hotel: Taxi stand directly at the harbour (approx. ? 10). By railway: InterRegio / Regionalexpress- access from direction Basel , Freiburg, Offenburg, Karlsruhe, Stuttgart, Ulm, Augsburg until city station Friedrichshafen

Conditions/extras

Free of charge cancellations are possible up to 1 day prior to arrival. Later cancellations and NoShows will be charged with 80% of the booked room rate. (For group reservations, during exhibitions, trade fairs and Conferences free of charge cancellations are possible up to 4 weeks prior to arrival).

Different conditions apply during following traid fairs and conferences:

AERO 2022: A cancellation free of charge is possible until 23th March 2022. After that, cancellations, changes and/or rebookings or no-shows will be charged with 90% of the booked service.

Power Generation Symposium Europe: A cancellation free of charge is possible until 13th June 2022. After that, cancellations, changes and/or rebookings or no-shows will be charged with 90% of the booked service.

KomS Technologieforum: A cancellation free of charge is possible until 03 Oktober 2022. After that, cancellations, changes and/or rebookings or no-shows will be charged with 90% of the booked service.

Tourist tax information

Die Gäste-Abgabe Friedrichshafen ist in dem angegebenen Preis nicht inkludiert. Die Gäste-Abgabe ist verpflichtend vor Ort zu bezahlen. Sie beträgt ab dem vollendeten 18. Lebensjahr vom 1. April bis 31. Oktober 2,50 EUR, Kinder/Jugendliche (6-18 Jahre) 1,25 EUR und vom 1. November bis 31. März 1,50 EUR, Kinder/Jugendliche (6-18 Jahre) 0,75 EUR pro Person und Nacht. Kinder bis zum vollendeten 6. Lebensjahr, Geschäftsreisende, Behinderte (ab 80%) und ihre Begleitpersonen sind befreit (Stand Januar 2023).
