Uferpromenade

Description

The Friedrichshafen lakeside promenade is one of the most beautiful and longest promenades on Lake Constance. From the mouth of the Rotach to the castle, it offers a fascinating panoramic view of the lake and the Alps. This lakeside square with its cosy street cafés and views of the glittering lake is a place of well-being. From the harbour, the ships of the ‘White Fleet’, the catamaran and the ferry depart and take you on a relaxing boat trip, and the Zeppelin Museum houses the world's largest collection of airship artefacts. The 22-metre-high observation tower on the harbour pier offers a boundless view and at the gondola harbour, pedal boats, rowing boats and motorboats invite you to take a spontaneous trip on the lake. The area from the car park by the lake (gondola harbour) to the Graf Zeppelin House can be used for events.

Electricity: 5 market cabinets (all fairground distributors). Market cabinet M4 must not be left open due to NH fuse strips in the market cabinet, therefore a mobile market cabinet is necessary.

Fresh water: There is no fixed water connection, but one can be installed if required.

Waste water: The drainage of waste water is planned on a case-by-case basis according to the type and requirements of the event.

Further information:    

• A concert shell is available for musical performances, among other things. 
• Consideration must be given to the catering establishments operating on the outdoor areas of the site.
• Valid special use permits issued for product exhibitions, catering, etc. remain valid during the event and must be observed and adequately integrated by the organiser.
• Access is via Schanzstraße or Friedrichstraße. 
• During the Seehasenfest and Kulturufer, the area is occupied and is not available for events.
